We work with boxes, not bunches or stems
Daoflowers is a company that wholesales fresh-cut flowers from Ecuador, Colombia, and Kenya. We work with large volumes and established purchasing tasks. We do not sell flowers individually or in bunches. All deliveries are packaged in boxes, each containing between 100 and 700 stems, depending on the type of flowers, length, and other parameters.

At Daoflowers, you can not order “several bunches,” only a whole box. This is logistically justified. A box is the basic unit for transportation, storage, and quality control. All wholesale deliveries are formed only in boxes, each of them contains a certain number of flowers of one or more varieties. This is important to understand when planning your purchase.
When starting a business, it is often difficult to clearly define your purchasing needs: what flowers, in what quantity, and how often you need them. Daoflowers is designed for those who are already planning to purchase dozens of boxes. We specialize in large wholesale deliveries and solve precisely these kinds of tasks. For beginners, this may be too big a step, but over time, the business grows, and the needs become greater and clearer. Important: an order example is a must!
Before we can proceed to a substantial discussion about deliveries, we need you to provide us with an example of your order, specifying:
- the flower variety
- the size or length of the stem
- the number of boxes for each position
This information is required for every type of flower you plan to purchase. Without this information, there is no point in starting a discussion.
Why there is no reason to ask for a price in advance
If you plan to start work in a month or later, there is no sense asking for a price now. We purchase flowers for our customers at current market prices, which change daily. In a month, the cost may be either higher or lower, depending on the season, demand, and the situation on the farms.
The prices we quote are only valid at the time of quotation or order placement. We do not fix prices in advance.
If you are just starting out
We solve the specific procurement tasks, rather than providing a product range on trial or launching a business. Therefore, not all categories of customers can effectively purchase from us.
This can be difficult for a beginner store: the purchased volume may exceed the store's capacity and require well-thought-out logistics, storage, and quick sales.
A flower shop or boutique with limited customer traffic may face several challenges, including:
- difficulty selling a full box of a single flower variety
- leftover inventory that remains unsold
- reduced profit margins due to limited sales
When starting a business, it is more effective to work through local distributors who can offer flowers in “bunches”. When your store grows into a chain or reaches a stable flow of customers, then Daoflowers will become a perfect business partner.
Regarding a network of 2–3 flower shops/boutiques/salons
Here we can begin to discuss the entry point for our deliveries. A network of several stores can already afford to distribute boxes evenly across locations, sell products faster, and generate more stable orders.

Working on an ongoing basis with a large number of farms in Ecuador, Colombia, and Kenya, we can offer budget and premium segments, the ability to purchase both by pre-order and in real time on our trading platform, and transparency in logistics.
You can also consider purchasing part of your order in the form of mixed assortments, where 2-3 varieties of the same type of flowers are packed in one box. This can be a convenient solution for those who want assortment but are not yet ready to purchase 2-3 boxes of each variety. This approach helps to be a little more flexible in purchasing, but it still implies a significant volume with a minimum order of 150 kg. Therefore, for a single salon, working directly with Daoflowers often remains unjustified in terms of scale.
