Flower Market Review (Week 32). Ideal time to place standing orders from Ecuadorian growers for the new season 06-08-2024 / Articles

The Colombian flower market is currently experiencing a decline in production, especially for rose, red carnation, and mini carnations. Farms are still doing well on pre-orders for the red Freedom variety and colored rose, but there is no longer an oversupply of promotional offerings on the free market. Prices have returned to regular. Orders for Colombian products are best placed in advance.

In contrast, Ecuador and Kenya still have high levels of flower production. Roses, spray roses, carnations, gypsophila, alstroemeria, mattiola (stock), ranunculus, anemones and other types of flowers are available on the market in large quantities. Products are in abundance and prices are very attractive. Farms willingly make discounts and offer many promotions. All the variety of interesting daily offers from farms can be found on our website. Buying an order on the day of leaving the farm is now an easy task, with the exception of dyed flowers, which still have to be ordered 5-6 days before the expected date of leaving the farm.

The current situation in the Ecuadorian flower market provides a good opportunity to make standing orders with farms for the upcoming high season. Upon request, our managers can provide proposals for a standing order from the farms you are interested in, or work out and agree with the farms the range you want for a standing order.

We recommend that you put some part of your regular volume on standing orders. This way you can protect yourself from possible market fluctuations and ensure yourself a stable supply of high quality flowers from the leading farms-growers of Ecuador, even during holiday deliveries.

Do not miss the chance to take advantage of favorable market conditions!
