For a long time, finding a stable and reliable supplier of high-quality chrysanthemums from Kenya was not an easy task. Most offers were limited to products that often lacked decorative leaves, or the quality did not meet the standards we are accustomed to provide our customers with.
Now we are pleased to announce that Daoflowers has added high-quality chrysanthemums from the Kenyan farm Alisha (Fontana) to its range.
Alisha farm grows chrysanthemums in 60 cm and 70 cm.
Packaging is available in bunches of 10 stems in 0.25 FB boxes:
- 120-150 stems (depending on variety and length).
Currently, the farm offers the following colors: white, green, yellow, purple, lavender, and pink.
One of the key advantages of Kenyan chrysanthemums from this supplier is the presence of decorative leaves. A bouquet with a green background of leaves looks more lively, fresh, and complete. Visual perception directly influences the end buyer's choice, and therefore the margin and speed of sales. Compared to leafless, chrysanthemums with leaves always look better in arrangements, adding volume and expressiveness.
At this stage, we recommend ordering mixed boxes from the Alisha farm. This is the best way to get acquainted with the products and the variety of colors.
In the coming weeks, a mono box format will become available, allowing you to order a specific color in full volume. This option may be more convenient for large wholesalers, allowing them to plan their purchases more accurately and form a target assortment for specific customer needs
Now is the perfect time to take a closer look at Kenyan chrysanthemums, as the Dutch supply season ends in November, while Kenyan flowers are available year-round. This is the ideal time to test Kenyan chrysanthemums and evaluate them as a possible alternative to traditional sources or use them to diversify your purchases.
Today, Kenyan chrysanthemums are gradually carving out their own niche in the global flower market, becoming a competitive alternative to European products. Kenya is making a name for itself by offering a product that combines decent quality and attractive prices. It is this balance that makes it a promising product capable of strengthening Kenya's position among the leading suppliers of cut flowers.
